Mark Fingerman

Mark Fingerman is a senior civil litigator with over 25 years of trial experience in the state and federal courts. Mark regularly handles business, commercial, real estate, insurance and corporate matters and is outside general counsel to a variety of companies. In his role as general counsel, Mark uses his extensive experience and contacts to assist companies in achieving their goals while minimizing liability exposure.

Before joining the Firm, Mark was a partner at the Los Angeles law firm of Valensi, Rose & Magaram, prior to which he was a partner at the Los Angles law firm of Bergman & Dacey.

Mark's trial experience includes defending and prosecuting multi-million dollar cases in which he employed the creative use of expert witnesses to shape and win the cases. Mark likewise has extensive experience in obtaining cost-effective resolution of disputes through mediation and arbitration.

Having lived and practiced in Paris, France, Mark continues to serve French and French-speaking clients both here and abroad. Mark maintains a network of North American and European colleagues with whom he works to provide local expertise on interstate and international matters. Mark represents and advises the Republic of France and has served for years as an officer of the French American Chamber of Commerce.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego, Mark received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he was a published editor for the California Western International Law Journal.
